With over 35 years experience Janet Wildey now works from her peaceful and private studio near Wimborne in Dorset.
Since completing Art School in 1983 she has used her skills in portraiture, graphics, illustration, cartoon and comic strips. Over the years she has gained many skills including computer artwork, pastels, watercolours, collage and oils.
From leaving art school Janet worked for the National Air Traffic Services as a Graphic Artist at the College of Art Traffic Control for eleven years. From this position she relocated to Luxembourg where she worked for a major Investment Bank, JPMorgan Fleming, as a Marketing Production Executive. In this position she was responsible for their European advertising material. On returning to England Janet has concentrated on her true love of painting animals and people. She is currently the resident artist at two local holiday parks where she works as a portrait artist. Janet has quietly accumulated an ever growing clientel for whom she has sketched or painted their loved ones – be these their cats, dogs, horses, cars, aircraft, children or even the mother-in-law!
